iQOO Pad 5e Launches in China With Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 144Hz Display

iQOO has announced the Pad 5e, a mid-range tablet designed to deliver solid performance for gamers and multimedia users. The device features the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor built on a 4nm process, clocked at up to 3.3 GHz, and paired with an Adreno 735 GPU for smooth gaming and everyday use. It includes a double-sided graphite heat dissipation system to maintain performance during intensive tasks.

The Pad 5e sports a 12.1-inch IPS LCD display with a sharp 2.8K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10 support, and a peak brightness of up to 900 nits, making it well-suited for gaming and media consumption. The display also utilizes DC dimming technology for a more comfortable viewing experience.

In terms of memory, the tablet is available with 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, or 512GB. The 128GB model uses UFS 3.1 storage, while the higher-capacity models feature faster UFS 4.1 storage. However, it runs on OriginOS HD 5 based on Android 15.

Camera capabilities include an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The tablet is powered by a sizable 10,000 mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging and 5W reverse wired charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port. An impressive 6-speaker setup delivers a rich stereo audio experience.

Currently, the iQOO Pad 5e is available exclusively in China, priced from CNY 1,999 for the base 8GB + 128GB model up to CNY 2,999 for the top-tier 16GB + 512GB variant. If the device launches in Nepal, expectations are that it will start around NPR 39,999 for the entry-level model.
