Itel Launches A70 Budget Smartphone in Nepal with Unisoc T603

Itel, the Chinese smartphone brand, has announced the launch of its newest budget device, the A70, now available in Nepal. This model targets cost-conscious buyers with a balance of essential features and decent performance.

The Itel A70 sports a conventional design with prominent camera modules on the rear, labeled with phrases such as "AI" and "Matrix Camera". Consumers can choose from four color options: Brilliant Gold, Starlish Black, Field Green, and Azure Blue. On the front, the phone boasts a sizable 6.6-inch HD+ screen with a resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, delivering a peak brightness of 500 nits and a touch sampling rate of 120Hz. While the panel type remains unspecified, it is likely an IPS LCD with a standard 60Hz refresh rate.

Underneath the hood, the device is powered by the octa-core Unisoc T603 chipset. It comes with a single storage configuration in Nepal: 4GB of RAM paired with 64GB of internal storage, though larger variants exist elsewhere. The phone supports an additional 2TB of storage expansion through a dedicated microSD card slot. It runs Android 13 (Go edition) layered with Itel's own OS 13 interface.
