JBL Go Essential Arrives in Nepal

JBL has expanded its speaker lineup in Nepal with the launch of the JBL Go Essential, an ultra-portable Bluetooth speaker designed for users who need compact, reliable audio on the move. With a familiar design to the JBL Go 2 but at a more accessible price point, this speaker targets budget-conscious consumers seeking quality sound without extra cost.

Design and Build

The JBL Go Essential sports a sleek rectangular shape with flat sides and gently rounded corners, making it easy to carry in a pocket or bag. Weighing just 180 grams and measuring 86.0 x 71.2 x 31.6 mm, it’s lightweight and highly portable. Its front grille is built for durability, and the speaker carries an IPX7 waterproof rating, allowing it to withstand submersion and water exposure during outdoor activities. It comes in three color options: Red, Black, and Blue.

Audio Performance

Despite its small size, the Go Essential delivers JBL’s Original Pro Sound technology, offering rich bass and clear audio for a mono-channel experience. The speaker supports Bluetooth 4.2 with a wireless range of up to 10 meters and a frequency response from 180 Hz to 20,000 Hz.

Battery and Charging

Powered by a 730 mAh LiPo battery, the JBL Go Essential provides up to 5 hours of continuous playback on a single charge. It fully charges in about 2.5 hours using a Micro USB cable.

Controls and Ports

All essential controls, including power, pairing, volume, and play/pause buttons, are placed on the top panel for easy access. A small rectangular door on the right side conceals the Micro USB charging port.

The JBL Go Essential is now available in Nepal for NPR 4,950. It can be purchased from authorized JBL retailers across the country.
