JBL Tune Buds 2 Now Available in Nepal

JBL has expanded its True Wireless Stereo lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Tune Buds 2, joining models like the Wave Buds 2, Wave Beam 2, and Tune Beam 2. These earbuds bring a blend of powerful bass response, spatial audio capabilities, and smart noise management to the local market.

Design and Build

The Tune Buds 2 are offered in black, blue, and white finishes, featuring a classic in-ear design that ensures a snug and comfortable fit. Each bud weighs just 5.5 grams, making them lightweight and easy to wear for extended periods. They carry an IP54 rating, offering protection against dust and light water splashes. Touch-sensitive controls on each earbud allow users to manage noise cancellation, answer calls, and control playback. The earbuds also support multipoint connectivity, enabling simultaneous pairing with two devices.

Audio Performance and Noise Cancellation

Equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers, the Tune Buds 2 deliver JBL’s signature "Pure Bass" sound, emphasizing deep and rich low frequencies. The earbuds also support spatial audio, enhancing immersion for music, videos, and gaming by simulating a surround-sound experience. An advanced “Personi-Fi 3.0” feature tailors the audio to match each user’s hearing preferences, accessible via the JBL Headphones app. For noise management, the earbuds include adaptive noise cancellation that automatically adjusts to reduce ambient sound, along with a “TalkThru” mode that lets surrounding audio in when needed.

Call Quality and Microphones

Each earbud houses three microphones: two capture the user’s voice clearly, while the third reduces background interference. The system employs noise and echo reduction technology, improving call clarity even in noisy or windy conditions.

Battery Life

JBL estimates up to 10 hours of playback with noise cancellation activated and up to 12 hours with it disabled. When combined with the charging case, total listening time extends to 40 hours with ANC on and 48 hours with it off. A quick 10-minute charge via USB-C provides approximately four hours of playback.
