Lenovo Legion 5 Pro (2022) Launched in Nepal With Updated Specs and Pricing

The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro (2022) has arrived in Nepal, offering gamers a robust performance upgrade in a familiar design. This iteration retains the large, heavy build of its predecessor, weighing 2.54 kilograms and featuring a 16-inch display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The screen boasts a smooth 165Hz refresh rate, WQXGA resolution (2560 x 1600), and supports Dolby Vision, AMD Free-Sync, and Nvidia G-Sync for optimized gaming visuals.

Under the hood, users can choose between AMD’s Ryzen 7 6800H processor, built on the Zen 3+ architecture with 8 cores and 16 threads, or Intel’s Core i7-12700H. The standard configuration includes 16GB of DDR5 RAM and a 512GB NVMe SSD, though the system allows upgrades to 32GB of RAM and up to 2TB of storage. Graphics duties are handled by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 with 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM, ensuring strong performance for demanding games.

Lenovo has implemented its Coldfront 4.0 cooling technology, featuring an expanded heat pipe system and a more powerful fan setup with thinner blades for better thermal management. The laptop is powered by an 80Wh battery and charged via a 135W adapter.

Connectivity options include USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C with DisplayPort 1.4, USB-A ports, an HDMI 2.1 output, a headphone jack, and an RJ45 Ethernet port. Security features include a TPM 2.0 chip, though a fingerprint sensor is not included.

Currently, three variants of the Legion 5 Pro (2022) are available in Nepal. The base model with the Ryzen 7 6800H and RTX 3050 Ti starts at NPR 159,999. The mid-tier option, equipped with the Ryzen 7 6800H and RTX 3060, is priced at NPR 215,000. For those preferring Intel, the model with the Core i7-12700H and RTX 3060, along with a 1TB SSD, costs NPR 186,000.

The laptop is presented in a Storm Grey color option and includes a 720p webcam with an e-shutter button and dual-array microphones for enhanced video conferencing and audio quality.
