Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 9 16AHP9 Lands in Nepal With Updated AMD Power

Lenovo has refreshed its Legion Slim 5 laptop line for 2024, and the latest ninth-generation model is now available in Nepal. The Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 9 16AHP9 brings updated AMD processing power paired with NVIDIA RTX graphics, making it a strong contender in the performance-focused portable market.

The laptop retains the same sleek, monotone design as its predecessor, featuring an aluminum top and PC-ABS plastic base, available only in Luna Grey. It includes a 4-zone RGB backlit keyboard with a dedicated numpad and a large series logo on the lid. The 16-inch IPS display offers WQXGA resolution with a 165Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 350 nits, delivering smooth visuals and vivid colors across a 100% sRGB gamut.

Under the hood, the Nepalese variant is powered by an AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS processor, which boasts eight cores, 16 threads, a 16MB L3 cache, and speeds up to 5.1GHz. It pairs with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of DDR5-5600 RAM, and a 512GB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD. The system can be upgraded to 64GB of memory and a second 1TB SSD if needed.

Connectivity options include two USB-A and two USB-C ports (USB 3.2 Gen 2), with one USB-A port offering always-on functionality and one USB-C supporting up to 140W Lenovo Power Delivery charging. Additional ports consist of HDMI 2.1, a Gigabit Ethernet jack, an SD card reader, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Wireless connectivity is handled by WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3.

The laptop is equipped with an 80Wh integrated battery and can be used with either a 170W or 230W power adapter. Weighing just 2.30 kg and measuring 359.70 mm x 260.50 mm x 19.90–21.90 mm, it balances portability with performance suitable for gaming and demanding tasks.

Currently, the RTX 4060 configuration is priced at NPR 224,900, while the RTX 4070 variant, featuring a 1TB SSD, is listed at NPR 234,900 but remains unavailable at this time. The laptop can be purchased from Lenovo-authorized distributors such as Nagmani International and other retail outlets across Nepal.
