Lenovo has announced the 2026 iteration of its LOQ 15 laptop at CES 2026, bringing major upgrades for gamers and power users on a budget. The new model features a rapid 180Hz display and solid AMD performance, positioning it as a strong contender in the mid-range market.

Design and Screen

The laptop sports a sleek polycarbonate body with subtle LOQ branding, keeping weight manageable while ensuring durability. The 15.6-inch screen uses a standard 16:9 layout but jumps to a fast 180Hz refresh rate from the previous 144Hz, paired with 400 nits brightness, NVIDIA G-Sync for smooth gameplay, and full sRGB coverage for accurate colors—making it ideal for both gaming and creative work.

Under the Hood

Inside, the AMD version carries the Ryzen 7 250 processor, an 8-core, 16-thread Zen 4 chip that can boost up to 5.1 GHz. This processor includes a dedicated Ryzen AI NPU capable of 38 TOPS for AI tasks. Graphics duties fall to the NVIDIA RTX 5060 with 8GB GDDR7 VRAM and a 100W TGP, providing solid gaming performance. Memory configuration includes 32GB of DDR5 RAM running at 5600 MT/s, alongside a spacious 2TB Gen 4 SSD.

Ports and Connectivity

Connectivity options are robust, with two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, one USB 4 port supporting 140W power delivery, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 port, an Ethernet jack, and a 3.5mm headphone/mic combo jack. Wireless connections include Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3. Additional features include a QHD webcam with an e-shutter, dual stereo speakers, and a 60Wh battery.

Release and Pricing
