Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 (2022) Arrives in Nepal with Updated Hardware

Lenovo has recently unveiled the third-generation ThinkPad X13 laptop in the Nepalese market, targeting professionals who frequently travel. This premium business notebook brings updated processors, better battery endurance, and enhanced communication tools.

The ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 is available with either 12th Gen Intel Core CPUs or AMD Ryzen Pro 6000 series processors. Intel models feature the efficient "Alder Lake" hybrid architecture, including the new P-series processors that provide more cores and higher thermal design power (TDP). There are six Intel options, while AMD offers two variants: a hexacore Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U and a higher-performance Ryzen 7 Pro 6850U. Although AMD processors do not match Intel's performance gains, their integrated Radeon graphics outperform Intel's Iris Xe in most scenarios.

Memory configurations include LPDDR5 RAM clocked at 6400 MHz for AMD models and 4800 MHz for Intel versions. The RAM is soldered to the motherboard, with options of 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB in dual-channel mode. Storage options reach up to 1TB of PCIe Gen 4 SSD.

Productivity features have been upgraded for today's hybrid work environments. The laptop includes Dolby Voice technology, which uses dynamic leveling and spatial audio to clarify voices during video calls. An optional Full HD webcam is available, with some models adding infrared sensors for Windows Hello facial recognition.

Battery life has improved with a new 54.7 Whr option, offering around 40 percent more endurance than the standard 41 Whr battery. Because of the different battery sizes, the laptop's weight varies between 1.20 kg and 1.28 kg, although thickness remains consistent. Three design variations are offered: an all-aluminum finish, a plastic and polymer (PPS) lid, or a carbon fiber lid.

Display options remain the same as last year, with a 13.3-inch 16:10 IPS panel available in WUXGA (with or without touch) or WQXGA resolutions. The WQXGA panel provides better color accuracy, while the WUXGA version can include touch functionality.

Key ports include multiple USB ports (with USB-C and USB4 support), HDMI, a headphone/microphone combo jack, and optional smart card reader or Nano-SIM slot for WWAN. Audio features dual 2W speakers with Dolby Atmos and a dual-microphone array with Dolby Voice processing. Connectivity includes WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.1, while security options cover Microsoft Pluton TPM 2.0, an optional TPM 2.0 chip, fingerprint scanner, and face unlock.

The Lenovo ThinkPad X13 Gen 3 is now available in Nepal, priced at NPR 127,000 for the base model featuring a Ryzen 5 Pro 6650U processor, 16GB of RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It can be purchased through Lenovo-authorized distributors such as Nagmani International.
