LG C3 OLED TV Launched in Nepal with Enhanced Features and Competitive Pricing

LG has launched its C3 OLED TV series in Nepal, reinforcing its position in the premium television market. The C3 models arrive with notable upgrades designed to compete directly with the latest QD-OLED offerings from Samsung.

The C3 series is offered in four display sizes: 42 inches, 48 inches, 77 inches, and 83 inches. Each model features a 4K resolution panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and full Dolby Vision support. Compared to the previous C2 generation, the C3 shows a measurable boost in peak brightness, reaching 670 nits in standard mode and climbing to 830 nits when using the Filmmaker HDR mode. The screens also carry TÜV Rheinland and UL certifications for reduced blue light emission and flicker-free viewing.

Powering these displays is LG’s new a9 AI Processor Gen 6, which brings advanced picture and sound processing. The processor enables AI Picture Pro for dynamic tone mapping and picture upscaling, producing more realistic HDR effects through object refinement. On the audio side, the AI Sound Pro system creates a virtual 9.1.2 surround sound experience directly from the TV’s built-in speakers.

The software experience has been refreshed with webOS 2023, introducing a redesigned home interface called “All New Home.” This update adds personalization tools such as Quick Cards and an AI Concierge to improve ease of use. The C3 models also support deeper integration with LG soundbars, allowing users to combine internal speakers with external audio for an enriched soundstage.

Connectivity is robust, with four HDMI 2.1a ports one of which supports eARC. The TVs are among the first to achieve certification for Quick Media Switching VRR (QMS-VRR), eliminating brief black screens that can occur when switching content via HDMI. Gamers will appreciate features such as a 0.1ms response time, FreeSync, G-Sync, and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM).

Key specifications include dual 40W speakers with Dolby Atmos, the Magic Remote for intuitive control, and support for ThinQ AI, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple AirPlay 2. Additional ports include three USB 2.0 Type-A connections, one LAN port, one RF input, one SPDIF port, Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), and Bluetooth 5.0.

The official MRP for the LG C3 OLED TVs in Nepal ranges from NPR 343,590 for the smallest 42-inch model up to NPR 1,384,690 for the largest 83-inch version. However, current market prices are lower, starting at NPR 285,790 for the 42-inch model and falling to NPR 1,151,490 for the 83-inch variant. These units are available through authorized LG retail locations across Nepal.
