New LG QNED 80 Series TVs Arrive in Nepal With Festive Discounts

LG has rolled out its QNED 80 series TVs in Nepal, marking the entry-level option in the company's mid-range QNED lineup. These displays come in three sizes: 55, 65, and 75 inches, all supporting a sharp 4K Ultra HD resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate for better motion handling.

The TVs utilize LG's Nano Color Pro technology, which delivers a broad color gamut and billion rich colors, along with local dimming for deeper blacks and brighter whites. Although it lacks Dolby Vision and Mini LED edge lighting found in some higher-end models, the QNED 80 series still provides solid picture quality thanks to AI Picture Pro, AI Upscaling, and support for multiple HDR formats including Active HDR, HDR10 Pro, and HLG. Gamers will appreciate features such as FreeSync compatibility, HGIG mode, and a game optimizer.

Audio performance is handled by a 40W system for the 75-inch model and 20W for the 65 and 55-inch versions, with down-firing speakers and support for virtual 5.1.2 surround sound through AI Sound Pro. The TV also includes AI Acoustic Tuning and supports audio codecs like AC4 and AC3 (Dolby Digital).

Connectivity is robust, featuring four HDMI 2.1 ports, with HDMI 3 supporting eARC for high-quality audio return. Additional ports include USB, LAN, RF In for antenna or satellite, SPDIF for audio, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, and Bluetooth version 5.0. The TV runs on the webOS platform and includes a Magic Remote, ThinQ AI, and Apple AirPlay 2 support.

Currently, the LG QNED 80 series is available in Nepal at special festive season prices. The 55-inch model is offered at NPR 1,59,990 (originally NPR 1,92,390), the 65-inch at NPR 2,45,190 (originally NPR 2,94,890), and the 75-inch at NPR 3,99,790 (originally NPR 4,80,790).
