New Apple Mac Mini M4 and M4 Pro Models Now Available in Nepal With Updated Pricing

Apple has officially released the latest Mac mini models equipped with the new M4 and M4 Pro chips in Nepal, following their global debut as part of the company's 'Week of Mac' event last October. The updated compact desktop computers are now on sale, with the base M4 model offered at a flat discount of NPR 10,000.

The new Mac mini retains Apple's signature ultra-compact form factor, measuring just 12.7 cm on each side and standing 5 cm tall. The M4 version weighs 670 grams, while the M4 Pro model is slightly heavier at 730 grams. Despite its small size, the Mac mini provides a powerful performance upgrade with the latest chip technology.

Performance-wise, buyers can choose between two processor options. The M4 chip features a 10-core CPU paired with a 10-core GPU, suitable for everyday tasks and light creative work. For more demanding users, the M4 Pro chip offers two configuration choices: a base model with a 12-core CPU and 16-core GPU, or an upgraded version with a 14-core CPU and 20-core GPU, available for an additional $200.

Memory and storage options have also been expanded. The M4 Pro models support up to 64GB of unified memory and storage capacities reaching up to 8TB, providing ample space for professionals and power users.

Connectivity remains robust across both models. The front panel includes two USB-C ports and a traditional headphone jack, while the rear offers three Thunderbolt ports (Thunderbolt 4 on the M4 and Thunderbolt 5 on the M4 Pro), HDMI output, a Gigabit Ethernet port with an option for a 10Gb upgrade, and a power input. Wireless connectivity is handled by Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3, ensuring fast and stable connections for all your peripherals.

Both the M4 and M4 Pro Mac mini models run on macOS Sequoia out of the box and include the latest Apple Intelligence features for enhanced functionality.

In terms of pricing, the base M4 Mac mini with 16GB of memory and 256GB of storage starts at NPR 99,990. The M4 Pro model with 24GB of memory and 512GB of storage is priced at NPR 239,000. Additional configurations are available, including a M4 Pro model with 64GB of memory and 1TB of storage for NPR 475,000. All models come with a 1-year warranty and are currently available from authorized Apple resellers throughout Nepal.
