Meizu Launches Compact 4-inch AI Cube for Smart Control

Meizu, known for its affordable smartphones, has expanded into the AI space with the launch of the 22 Next AI Cube, a small and portable AI gadget measuring just 4 inches. Its pocket-friendly design allows users to hold it easily, attach it to clothing, or place it discreetly on surfaces such as desks or dashboards, depending on the chosen accessory.

The device operates as a standalone 5G AI unit running on Meizu’s proprietary AIOS platform, which replaces traditional app grids with a voice-focused desktop environment. Users can speak to execute tasks, automate routines, or retrieve information, enabling smooth and intuitive interactions.

A key highlight of the AI Cube is its Agent-to-Agent collaboration system, where multiple AI agents can communicate and coordinate on complex tasks autonomously. It also includes a task-robot feature that streamlines application workflows with a single voice command, while still supporting conventional graphical user interface apps.

The AI Cube further stands out with an emotional intelligence component, featuring a realistic avatar engine capable of expressing over 100 emotional states. This avatar evolves through AI Memory, which records user identity, mood, and health data, allowing for personalized responses and emotional engagement prompts.

Beyond its AI capabilities, the Meizu 22 Next doubles as a central control hub for connected devices. Leveraging Meizu’s One-Flow ecosystem, users can manage smartphones, smart home gadgets, IoT devices, appliances, and even vehicles through simple voice commands, making it a versatile command center for a connected lifestyle.
