Standard LCD monitors with local dimming might include only dozens or hundreds of zones, but Mini LED can incorporate tens of thousands of these tiny LED zones. This high density of zones enables the display to produce bolder colors, richer blacks, and enhanced brightness levels, especially for HDR content. Essentially, Mini LED captures the emissive benefits of OLED while remaining implemented within LCD technology, making it a hybrid solution. Although it does not match the performance of OLED, it clearly surpasses conventional LCD screens in image quality.
