Mivi Launches AI-Powered Earbuds in Nepal with Interactive Voice Assistant

Mivi has unveiled the Mivi AI Buds in Nepal, marking the debut of the company’s first earbuds with an integrated human-like artificial intelligence assistant. Unlike conventional wireless earbuds that mainly handle calls and music, these buds incorporate a voice AI system capable of engaging in everyday conversations, offering contextual support, and adapting to user preferences.

The earbuds feature a sleek rose gold design with a glossy, curved metallic finish and a compact matte charging case. Inside, a dedicated AI processor enables quick, responsive voice interactions while only connecting to the cloud when activated by saying “Hi Mi,” helping conserve battery life and enhance privacy. The audio setup includes 13 mm drivers with support for spatial and 3D audio, paired with active noise cancellation that reduces ambient noise by approximately 35 dB. Users can enjoy up to 40 hours of combined playback and benefit from Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity with dual-device pairing.

The AI system includes several digital personas, or “avatars,” tailored for specific tasks. One acts as a personal chef, guiding users through recipes and adjusting based on their tastes. Another functions as an interview coach, offering real-time feedback during practice sessions, while a wellness coach checks in on the user’s emotional state and provides basic guidance. The AI also remembers past conversations, enabling more natural, ongoing interactions.

Pricing and availability place the Mivi AI Buds at NPR 13,999, with sales beginning at Dizikart. The earbuds support popular codecs such as SBC, AAC, and LDAC, include touch controls for easy operation, and feature a gaming or low-latency mode for lag-free use.
