Motorola has just announced the Moto Pad 60 Neo in India, an 11-inch 5G tablet that is essentially a rebranded version of the Lenovo Idea Tab 5G launched earlier in August. All specifications remain identical, now carried under Motorola’s branding. The tablet is positioned as a solid option for everyday use, with a focus on affordability and essential features.

The Moto Pad 60 Neo sports an 11-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. The screen reaches a brightness of 500 nits and covers approximately 72 percent of the NTSC color gamut, earning TÜV Rheinland certification for flicker-free and low blue light performance. Measuring 254.59 x 166.15 x 6.99 millimeters and weighing 480 grams, the tablet carries an IP52 rating for dust and splash resistance.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, featuring two performance cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six efficiency cores at 2.0GHz, paired with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. It comes with 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via microSD up to 2TB. While the storage capacity may feel limited for some users, the price point keeps it accessible. The tablet supports 5G connectivity through a Nano SIM slot.

For multimedia, the Moto Pad 60 Neo includes quad speakers with Dolby Atmos, delivering decent audio for videos and music. The rear camera is an 8MP unit with autofocus, while the front-facing camera is a 5MP fixed-focus lens. A 7040mAh battery powers the device, supporting 20W wired charging. Although the battery size feels modest compared to modern smartphones, a 68W charger is included in the box, though only 20W will be utilized by the tablet. Notably, a stylus is bundled, making it suitable for note-taking or light drawing.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and A-GPS. Sensors on board are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and hall sensor. However, the tablet lacks a fingerprint scanner and vibration motor, which may be seen as an oversight for a 2025 release.

In India, the Moto Pad 60 Neo is priced at INR 17,999, but introductory offers reduce this to INR 12,999. For Nepal, the expected price starts at around NPR 33,000 when it becomes available through authorized retailers.
