Motorola Debuts Its First Portable Speaker, the Moto Sound Flow, With Bose Audio Tuning

Motorola has introduced the Moto Sound Flow, marking the company’s first independent portable speaker. Unveiled at CES 2026, the device brings Bose-tuned audio to a compact, everyday listening solution. Featuring a 30W output through a dedicated woofer, a dedicated tweeter, and dual passive radiators, the speaker targets regular home or casual outdoor use rather than large gatherings.

The Moto Sound Flow sports a durable twill-textured fabric finish and is offered in two refined colors: PANTONE Carbon and PANTONE Warm Taupe. It achieves an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, surviving immersion up to one meter for 30 minutes. Powering the speaker is a sizable 6000mAh battery, though official playback duration remains unannounced.

Smart capabilities include Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology, enabling automatic audio switching when a compatible phone approaches. When paired with a second Moto Sound Flow, the system employs Dynamic Stereo to adjust left and right audio channels based on device positioning. The accompanying app introduces Quick Switch for gesture-based audio transfer and RoomShift, which redirects sound to the nearest speaker as users move between rooms. Both features require compatible Motorola devices and are available for Android and iOS platforms.

Connectivity options encompass Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5, ensuring versatile pairing possibilities. Although the Moto Sound Flow will initially launch in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific in the coming weeks, Nepalese consumers can anticipate an estimated release price of NPR 30,000.
