Motorola has officially launched the Edge 60 Neo, a midrange smartphone that follows last year's Edge 50 Neo model. While the device does not introduce major changes, it does bring notable upgrades such as a new processor and a larger battery capacity. Below, we cover all the essential details about the Edge 60 Neo, including its specifications, expected price in Nepal, and availability.
The Edge 60 Neo sports a 6.36-inch OLED LTPO display that delivers a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and supports HDR10+, with a peak brightness reaching 3,000 nits. Protection is handled by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, an improvement over the previous model's Gorilla Glass 3. The phone measures 8.09 mm in thickness and weighs 174.5 grams.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset, fabricated on a 4nm process. This processor represents an upgrade from the Dimensity 7300 used in the Edge 50 Neo and is also found in other midrange devices such as the Realme Narzo 80 Pro and Infinix GT 30. The Edge 60 Neo offers up to 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage, running on Android 15 out of the box.
Camera capabilities remain consistent with the prior model, featuring a 50MP main camera, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and optical image stabilization. The front camera is again a 32MP sensor. Although the battery has increased to 5,000 mAh from the previous 4,310 mAh, it still lags behind competitors that have adopted capacities of 7,000 to 8,000 mAh. However, the phone supports fast 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging, along with IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings.
Additional features include NFC, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support.
The Edge 60 Neo will be offered in Pantone Frostbite, Pantone Poinciana, and Pantone Grisaille color options in Europe. The base model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at INR 29,199. For the Nepali market, the expected price is NPR 37,500 for the same variant.
