Motorola Edge 70 Spotted Ahead of November Launch, Full Specs Revealed

The Motorola Edge 70 has surfaced ahead of its official launch, appearing on a Polish retailer’s website just a month before it goes official. The listing provides a full look at the device’s specifications and design, allowing us to evaluate its claimed “impossibly thin” profile and overall capabilities.

Measuring 6 millimeters thick and weighing 170 grams, the Edge 70 is slightly thicker and heavier than rivals such as the iPhone Air, at 5.6 mm and 165 g, and the Galaxy S25 Edge, at 5.8 mm and 163 g. However, the difference is unlikely to be noticeable in everyday use. The design largely carries over from its predecessor, with the addition of new color options: Pantone Bronze Green, Pantone Gadget Gray, and Pantone Lily Pad. The Bronze Green model features a fabric leather back.

The display remains unchanged, featuring a 6.67-inch pOLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, an upgrade from the Mediatek Dimensity 7300 used in earlier models. While performance differences are minor, the Snapdragon chip offers a slight edge. The device runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI on top.

Memory configuration includes 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage. One of the most notable features is the large 4,800 mAh battery, which surpasses capacities found in flagship devices from Apple and Samsung. Despite its added thickness, the battery supports fast 68W wired charging, as seen in the Motorola Edge 60, along with 15W wireless charging.

Camera equipment includes dual 50MP sensors on the rear, with the primary lens supporting Optical Image Stabilization for sharper photos. The front camera is also a 50MP sensor. The phone supports dual SIM configurations, including a nano-SIM and an eSIM, with full 5G capability. Audio features Dolby Atmos across its speakers, and the device includes a dedicated AI button, a feature becoming more common in modern smartphones.

The Motorola Edge 70 will debut in China as the Moto X70 Air on November 5. With listings already appearing internationally, a global release close to this date is anticipated. Pricing details remain unconfirmed at this time, but updates will follow once official information becomes available.
