Motorola has announced the Moto G57 for international markets, following the recent launch of the Moto G67 Power. The G57 adopts a similar design language but equips a slightly less powerful Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor and a smaller 5200mAh battery compared to its counterpart.
The phone features a silicone polymer "vegan leather" build with a plastic frame, measuring 8.6mm thick. It carries an IP64 dust and splash resistance rating, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the display, and has passed MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability tests. The G57 comes in four color options: Pantone Regatta, Pantone Pink Lemonade, Pantone Corsair, and Pantone Fluidity.
At the front, it sports a large 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD panel with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,050 nits. While it does not use an OLED screen, the display should serve most users well.
Under the hood, the device is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, marking the first phone to feature this processor. Built on a 4nm process and 5G-ready, it includes slightly underclocked Cortex-A55 CPU cores compared to the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 in the G67 Power. The G57 pairs the chip with 4, 8, or 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It ships with Android 16, running Motorola’s My UX interface, which is notable for a budget device given many competitors still launch with Android 15.
For photography, the G57 includes a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens. The front camera is an 8MP shooter in a hole-punch design. The phone can record videos up to 2K at 30 frames per second and offers features such as Magic Eraser for removing unwanted objects from images.
Battery life is handled by a 5200mAh cell, differing from the G67 Power’s larger 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery. Both models support 30W fast charging. The G57 also includes stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, retains the 3.5mm headphone jack, and offers a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, WiFi 6, NFC, and dual SIM support (nano plus eSIM).
Currently exclusive to Europe, the Moto G57 is priced at EUR 249. When it arrives in Nepal, the expected price is approximately NPR 34,999.
