MSI Launches MAG 274QP X24 QD-OLED Gaming Monitor

MSI has announced the MAG 274QP X24, a new QD-OLED gaming monitor designed for high-performance users. The monitor features a 26.5-inch third-generation Samsung QD-OLED panel with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 and a smooth 240Hz refresh rate. It also holds VESA ClearMR 13000 certification for improved motion clarity.

Key highlights include HDR support with a peak brightness of 400 nits and SDR brightness reaching 200 nits. The display covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color space and comes factory-calibrated with a Delta E value of ≤2 for precise color accuracy. The monitor supports both AMD FreeSync and NVIDIA G-SYNC for seamless performance with gaming PCs, and it is compatible with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles, offering 1080p and 1440p at 60Hz and 120Hz, along with HDMI CEC and variable refresh rate (VRR).

To address the common issue of OLED burn-in, MSI has integrated OLED Care 2.0, which refreshes the entire panel every 24 hours during standby or power-off modes, complete with a 30-minute warning before each cycle. Additionally, MSI provides a 3-year burn-in warranty for added peace of mind.

Connectivity options are limited to two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4a, and a headphone jack. Notably, the monitor does not include any USB ports or USB-C, requiring users to rely on external hubs or direct PC connections for peripheral devices.
