New MSI Prestige Laptops With Intel Tiger Lake Processors Launch in Nepal

MSI has officially launched its latest Prestige laptop series in Nepal, featuring 11th-gen Intel Core processors, known as Tiger Lake. The new lineup includes the Prestige 15 and Prestige 14 Evo, offering a blend of performance, sleek design, and portability for professionals and everyday users alike.

The MSI Prestige 15 stands out with its durable aluminum chassis and MIL-STD-810G military-grade durability. It features a 15.6-inch display, available in FHD or 4K UHD options, with the 4K panel covering 100% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and supporting True Tone technology. The laptop is powered by up to an Intel Core i7-1185G7 processor, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q graphics card. It offers up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM and a single NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 slot for storage expansion. Cooling is managed by Cooler Boost 3 technology, which includes two dedicated and three heat pipes. Security features include an IR camera for face unlock, a FIDO 2-compatible fingerprint scanner, and Windows Hello support. Connectivity options include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a Micro SD card slot. The laptop is backed by an 82 Whr battery, claimed to deliver up to 16 hours of usage, and comes with a 90W power adapter.

The MSI Prestige 14 Evo, developed in collaboration with Intel, holds Intel Evo certification, ensuring at least 9 hours of battery life on an FHD display, Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, and thin bezels. It sports a 14-inch FHD IPS display with 300 nits brightness and is powered by up to an Intel Core i7-1165G7 processor, relying on Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics instead of a dedicated GPU. The device comes with 16GB of LPDDR4x RAM and a single NVMe M.2 PCIe Gen4 slot for storage. It features a smaller 52 Whr battery and a 65W power adapter. Port selection includes two USB Type-C ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an additional USB 2.0 Type-A port, an HDMI port, and a Micro SD card slot. Like the Prestige 15, it also supports WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and includes an IR camera for face unlock along with a FIDO 2-compatible fingerprint scanner.

In terms of pricing, the MSI Prestige 14 Evo starts at NPR 173,000 for the Core i5 model and goes up to NPR 193,000 for the Core i7 configuration. The Prestige 15 is available in two variants priced at NPR 207,600 and NPR 241,000 respectively, with the higher-end model offering a larger 1TB SSD.

Both models are now available in Nepal, providing users with versatile options depending on their performance needs and budget constraints.
