MSI Summit Business Laptops Now Available in Nepal

MSI has officially launched its Summit series of business laptops in the Nepalese market, targeting professionals who need reliable performance for productivity and content creation. The lineup includes two distinct families: the Summit E series for demanding users, and the Summit B series for everyday business applications.

Design and Display Options

The Summit E series includes two models: the 15.6-inch E15 and the 14-inch E14. Currently, only the E15 is available in Nepal, offering both FHD and 4K UHD display options. The 4K panel covers the full Adobe RGB color gamut, making it ideal for graphic designers and content creators. Both models feature an aluminum chassis in a sleek Ink Black finish.

The Summit B series consists of the 15.6-inch B15 and the 14-inch B14, both with standard FHD IPS displays without touch capabilities.

Performance and Graphics

All Summit laptops are powered by 11th-generation Intel Core processors. The Summit E15 can be configured with up to an Intel Core i7-1185G7, paired with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti Max-Q graphics for enhanced graphical performance. In contrast, the Summit B series relies solely on Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics, suitable for office applications and light multimedia tasks.

Battery Life and Security

The Summit E15 features a larger 82Whr battery, claimed to deliver up to 16 hours of endurance, while the E14 and B series models have a 52Whr battery with up to 10 hours of use. Both series include TPM 2.0 for hardware security and support Windows Hello via fingerprint scanners and face recognition.

Connectivity and Ports

Connectivity is robust across the board, with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 as standard. The Summit E15 offers two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, an HDMI port, a micro SD card reader, and a combined microphone/headphone jack. The Summit B15 provides one Thunderbolt 4 port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one additional USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, along with the same HDMI, micro SD, and audio jacks.

Storage and Memory

The Summit E15 supports up to 64GB of DDR4 RAM at 3200 MHz and offers two M.2 slots for NVMe PCIe storage, allowing for flexible upgrades. The Summit B series also supports up to 64GB of RAM but has more limited storage expansion options.

Price and Availability in Nepal

The MSI Summit series is now available in Nepal, with prices starting at NPR 138,000 for the base Summit B15 model and reaching NPR 259,000 for the top-spec Summit E15 with a 4K display and dedicated graphics. These laptops can be found at authorized MSI retailers and laptop stores across the country.
