Nubia Air Debuts in Nepal with Sleek Design and Long-Lasting Battery

Nubia has officially launched the Air in Nepal, joining the growing trend of ultra-slim smartphones while also focusing on long battery life. This device aims to attract users who appreciate a sleek design without compromising on durability and everyday performance.

The Nubia Air measures 6.7 mm at its thickest point, with the thinnest area measuring just 5.9 mm, and weighs only 172 grams, making it remarkably light and easy to carry. Despite its slim profile, the phone does not feel flimsy, thanks to its robust build and IP68/IP69K certification for dust and water resistance.

Display quality is handled by a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with a sharp 1,224 by 2,720 pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and can reach a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, although typical usage brightness is more moderate. A punch-hole cutout houses the front camera, while an in-display fingerprint sensor ensures secure access.

Under the hood, the Nubia Air is powered by the Unisoc T8300 4G chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of non-expandable storage. While this processor is modest and not ideal for demanding games or heavy multitasking, it is sufficient for everyday tasks such as browsing, social media, and light app use.

Photography enthusiasts will find a straightforward camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, a 2MP depth camera, and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. The rear camera system is complemented by a 20MP front camera for selfies.

One of the standout features of the Nubia Air is its 5,000mAh battery, which offers solid endurance for daily use. The phone supports 33W wired charging, which, while not the fastest available, is adequate given the battery’s capacity.

The device runs on Android 15 out of the box and includes standard connectivity options such as dual Nano-SIM support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, NFC, and USB-C 2.0. Additional sensors on board include an accelerometer, compass, gyro, and proximity sensor.
