Nubia has introduced the Flip3 in Japan, expanding its foldable lineup alongside the larger book-style Fold model. Unlike the Fold, which emphasizes a tablet-like experience, the Flip3 focuses on portability with a slim clamshell design that easily fits into a pocket.
The Flip3 measures just 7.5mm when unfolded and weighs 187g, available in Black or White with an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating. It features a 6.9-inch flexible AMOLED main display with Full-HD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with a 4-inch AMOLED cover display on the outside.
Under the hood, the Flip3 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, paired with 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. While aimed at the mid-range market, the device offers decent performance for everyday tasks, though it is not optimized for heavy gaming or intensive workloads.
For photography, the Flip3 includes a dual rear camera system with a 50MP main sensor and a 12MP ultrawide lens, along with a 32MP front camera for selfies. The device houses a 4,610mAh battery, though charging speeds have not yet been disclosed. It supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and ships with Android 15 out of the box.
The Flip3 is scheduled to go on sale in Japan in January 2026, with its official price yet to be revealed.
