OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G Price Updated in Nepal After Import Duty Increase

OnePlus introduced the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G in Nepal back in May, and recent changes have adjusted its price upward because of higher import duties. The model remains a strong mid-range option with a number of compelling features, now priced at NPR 40,999 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage configuration, up from its original launch price of NPR 39,999.

The phone sports a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD screen that runs at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, supporting both sRGB and DCI-P3 color spaces. It is available in two finishes: Blue Tide and Black Dusk, with a dual-tone design that has striped detailing around the camera area contrasted against a matte surface elsewhere. Measuring 8.5mm thick and weighing about 195 grams, it balances style with everyday manageability.

Under the hood, the Nord CE 2 Lite is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset built on a 6nm process, a chip that has gained traction in the mid-range market. It is offered with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM matched to 128GB of internal storage, with the option to expand storage up to 1TB through a microSD card.

For photography, the device carries a triple-camera setup led by a 64MP main sensor, supported by two 2MP cameras handling macro and depth effects. Although it lacks an ultrawide lens, the system includes electronic image stabilization, and a 16MP front camera based on the Sony IMX471 sensor handles selfies.

The phone packs a robust 5000mAh battery paired with 33W SuperVOOC fast charging, along with multiple temperature sensors and a dedicated chip to protect battery health. It runs on Android 12 with OnePlus’s OxygenOS 12, and users can expect two years of major software updates plus three years of security patches.
