OnePlus Watch 2 Arrives in Nepal With Dual Processor Setup

After a long wait and much speculation, OnePlus has officially introduced the OnePlus Watch 2 in Nepal, aiming to correct the missteps of its predecessor. The device combines a premium design with powerful performance features and is now accessible through authorized OnePlus stores across the country.

The OnePlus Watch 2 features a circular design with a stainless steel chassis and a 1.43-inch AMOLED display that delivers a sharp 466 x 466 pixel resolution and a peak brightness of 600 nits, protected by a 2.5D sapphire crystal cover plate. It is built to endure daily wear with IP68 dust and water resistance, MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification, and a depth resistance of up to 50 meters.

Under the hood, the smartwatch utilizes a dual-processor setup, pairing the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 with the BES2700BP microcontroller unit, enabling it to run both Wear OS 4 and RTOS for improved efficiency and functionality. The device comes with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, and an additional 4GB of eMMC storage dedicated to RTOS.

Health and fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the OnePlus Watch 2’s extensive tracking capabilities, including over 100 sports modes with automatic recognition for six types and detailed monitoring for eleven specific activities. It also provides comprehensive health metrics and sleep analysis.

A 500 mAh battery powers the watch, offering more than four days of typical use on Smart Mode, up to 48 hours for heavy users, and nearly two weeks in power-saving mode. The watch supports fast charging, reaching a full charge in just one hour, with ten minutes of charging providing a full day’s worth of use.

Connectivity options include dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0 with low-energy mode, NFC for contactless payments, and multi-satellite navigation support across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS. The watch is compatible exclusively with Android devices running version 8.0 or higher.

The OnePlus Watch 2 is priced at NPR 44,999 and can be purchased from authorized OnePlus retailers throughout Nepal. It is available in two color options: Radiant Steel and Black Steel.
