Oppo A18 Arrives in Nepal With Affordable Pricing

Oppo has introduced the A18 in the Nepalese market, continuing its tradition of offering budget-friendly smartphones. The device carries forward the design language of its predecessor, the Oppo A17, with a waterdrop notch screen, a flat plastic frame, and glossy finishes available in Glowing Blue and Glowing Black shades.

The display measures 6.56 inches and uses an LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, and broad DCI-P3 and sRGB color coverage. Underneath, the phone is driven by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor built on a 12nm process, paired with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. It runs Android 13, layered with Oppo’s ColorOS 13.1.

For photography, the A18 features a dual rear camera system led by an 8MP primary sensor with autofocus, supported by a 2MP mono camera, while a 5MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. A sizable 5000mAh battery powers the device, though Oppo has not specified the charging speed, suggesting it may default to 10W charging. Connectivity includes WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a USB Type-C port, with security aided by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.

The Oppo A18 is priced in Nepal at NPR 14,499 for the single 4GB RAM and 128GB storage variant and is now available through authorized mobile retailers across the country.
