Oppo A6 GT 5G Debuts with Massive 7000mAh Battery and 80W Fast Charging

Oppo has officially launched the A6 GT 5G in China, bringing a standout feature with its massive 7000mAh battery, paired with 80W Super Flash Charge for rapid top-ups. The smartphone sports a 6.8-inch AMOLED display offering a 1.5K resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, along with an under-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, coupled with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage options, available in configurations of 8GB or 12GB RAM and 256GB or 512GB storage. It runs on Android 15 with Oppo’s ColorOS interface. The camera setup includes a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization and a 2MP monochrome sensor on the rear, while the front features a 32MP camera capable of recording in 4K.

In terms of battery life, the 7000mAh cell stands out in the mid-range market, where most competitors offer between 5000mAh and 6000mAh. The 80W charging supports quick power recovery, making it ideal for users who experience frequent power cuts. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, and NFC, along with dual-SIM support and a USB Type-C port.

The Oppo A6 GT 5G is currently priced in China starting at CNY 1,699 for the 8GB+256GB variant. For the Nepali market, expectations are that the device will debut by late 2025, with anticipated pricing starting around NPR 32,000, rising to NPR 42,000 for the top-tier 12GB+512GB model. The phone will likely enter India first as the Oppo F31 Pro+ later this month before making its way to Nepal.
