OPPO Find X9 Launches Globally with Industry-Leading Features

OPPO has officially unveiled the Find X9 globally, positioning it as a flagship contender with an array of premium specifications and innovative design elements. The device is set to make its global debut in Barcelona later this month, following its initial launch in China.

Design and Display

The Find X9 sports a 6.59-inch flat OLED panel with a sharp 2760 × 1256 resolution, offering a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness levels of 3,600 nits for HDR content. The phone features razor-thin bezels measuring just 1.15mm on all sides. Its design includes a matte glass back paired with a matching matte aluminum frame, and a newly redesigned camera module that appears as a distinctive squarish island on the left side, replacing the traditional circular arrangement seen in previous models. Available in four color options—Mist Black, Frost White, Velvet Titanium, and Light Red—the Find X9 also carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Performance and Software

Under the hood, the Find X9 is powered by the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on TSMC's advanced 3nm N3P process. This processor delivers a 32% boost in single-core performance and a 17% increase in multi-core efficiency compared to its predecessor. The Mali-G1 Ultra GPU provides a 33% performance uplift while consuming 42% less power. The Dimensity 9500 also integrates the MediaTek NPU 990, which accelerates on-device AI tasks by twofold and reduces power consumption by 56%. The device comes with either 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to a whopping 1TB of UFS 4.1, though it lacks expandable storage.

Running on top of Android 16, OPPO's new ColorOS 16 brings refined system animations and visual elements inspired by iOS 26. It also includes deep integration with Google Gemini AI alongside OPPO's proprietary AI features such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Recorder, and AI Mind Space. OPPO guarantees five major software updates and six years of security patches for the Find X9 series.

Camera Capabilities

The Find X9 boasts the Hasselblad Master Camera System, enhanced by OPPO's LUMA Image Engine for advanced computational photography. The main camera uses a 50MP Sony LYT-808 sensor with a f/1.6 aperture and optical image stabilization. A 50MP Sony LYT-600 periscope telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom, while a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultrawide sensor handles wide-angle shots. Additionally, a 9-channel multi-spectral “True Color Camera” ensures accurate color reproduction. For selfies, the device features a 32MP front camera, capable of recording up to 4K at 120 frames per second in Dolby Vision, with support for 4K 120fps 10-bit LOG recording and ACES color grading.

Battery Life and Charging

One of the standout features of the Find X9 is its enormous 7,025 mAh battery, utilizing third-generation silicon-carbon technology. This represents a substantial 1,395 mAh increase over the Find X8 and is claimed to deliver up to two days of typical usage. OPPO states that battery health will remain above 80% even after five years of use. The phone supports fast 80W wired charging, along with 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging capabilities.

Additional Features

The Find X9 introduces an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, a feature missing from previous OPPO flagships. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and USB Type-C. The device also houses a comprehensive suite of sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, color temperature sensor, e-compass, infrared remote control, gyroscope, Hall sensor, proximity sensor, and spectrum sensor.

Pricing and Availability

In China, the OPPO Find X9 starts at CNY 4,399, approximately USD 617 or INR 54,350. The global launch will occur in Barcelona on October 28. Should it reach Nepal, the starting price is anticipated to be no less than NPR 104,499 for the base model. Expected pricing tiers in Nepal are as follows:
