OPPO Find X9 Pro Launches with a 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto Camera and Extended Battery

OPPO has officially launched the Find X9 Pro in China, with a global debut scheduled for Barcelona later this month. This new flagship smartphone brings significant upgrades, particularly in its camera and battery capabilities.

The Find X9 Pro features a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with a resolution of 2772 x 1272 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness levels reaching 3,600 nits on 20% of the screen. It retains the ultra-thin 1.15mm symmetrical bezels and offers a matte glass back with matte aluminum frames, available in Frost White, Velvet Titanium, and Light Red.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, which delivers substantial performance improvements over its predecessor. It is paired with 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB via UFS 4.1. The phone runs on Android 16 with OPPO’s ColorOS 16, guaranteeing five major OS updates and six years of security patches. Integrated AI features include Google Gemini, alongside OPPO’s AI Portrait Glow, AI Recorder, and AI Mind Space, with compatibility for pairing with an Apple Watch.

The camera system stands out with a 50MP main camera using a Sony LYT-828 sensor, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a standout 200MP Hasselblad-certified telephoto camera offering 3x optical zoom. An exclusive teleconverter accessory provides an additional 10x optical zoom, 200x digital zoom, and 50x video zoom. Video recording supports 4K at 120 frames per second on both main and telephoto cameras, with Dolby Vision, 10-bit LOG recording, ACES color grading, Stage Mode, and AI Sound Focus. The entire system is driven by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine, developed in collaboration with Hasselblad.

Battery life is enhanced with a 7,500 mAh silicon-carbon battery, claimed to offer up to two days of typical use, maintaining over 80% health after five years. Charging remains at 80W wired and 50W wireless speeds.

Security features include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and the phone retains IP66, IP68, and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings. Connectivity options encompass 5G, WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, GPS, and USB Type-C.

The OPPO Find X9 Pro is currently available in China, priced starting at CNY 5,299, approximately USD 745. A global launch is set for October 28th, with the device expected to arrive in Nepal soon after, starting at NPR 125,999 for the base model.
