OPPO Find X9 Series Set for Global Launch with Powerful Dimensity 9500 Chip

OPPO has officially confirmed that its upcoming Find X9 series of flagship smartphones will launch globally soon. The series, which includes the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro models, will be among the first devices to feature MediaTek's powerful new Dimensity 9500 processor. This chip competes directly with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and Apple's A19 Pro, used in the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The Dimensity 9500 processor stands out with its all-big-core design, utilizing Arm's next-generation CPUs for a reported 32 percent improvement in single-core performance and 17 percent in multi-core tasks. Its Mali-G1 Ultra GPU also promises a 33 percent boost in graphics performance. OPPO's proprietary Trinity Engine further enhances the chipset, introducing Android's first Unified Computing Power Model for optimized performance.

The Find X9 series will also debut with ColorOS 16, built on Android 16. This update brings system-wide enhancements and a fresh "Liquid Glass UI" design, similar to iOS 26. In addition, both models will feature larger batteries than their predecessors: the Find X9 will have a 7,025 mAh battery, up from 5,630 mAh in the Find X8, while the Find X9 Pro will pack a massive 7,500 mAh battery, an increase from 5,910 mAh in the Find X8 Pro.

OPPO has also revealed a refreshed design for the Find X9 series, available in four color options: Velvet Sand Titanium, Velvet Light Titanium, Frost White, and Mist Black. The camera module will adopt a squarish shape, differing from the circular design seen previously, and will retain Hasselblad optimization. The Find X9 Pro will include a 200MP ISOCELL HP5 periscope camera, alongside a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and a color spectrum sensor.

Display specifications show the Find X9 with a 6.59-inch screen and the Find X9 Pro with a larger 6.78-inch panel. Both are rumored to use flat AMOLED technology instead of curved displays, marking a shift from previous models. These screens also include a full-scene 1-nit eye-care mode compatible across all apps and a 3,840 Hz PWM dimming for enhanced viewing comfort.

The OPPO Find X9 series will debut in China on October 15 and will subsequently launch globally, as confirmed by OPPO’s Chief Product Officer, Pete Lau.
