OPPO has officially launched the Pad 5 tablet in China, positioning it as a high-performance option for users seeking a capable Android tablet for productivity and entertainment. The Pad 5 joins the Find X9 series and Watch S smartwatch as part of OPPO's latest product lineup.

Design and Display

The Pad 5 sports a slim 5.99mm profile and weighs just 579g, with a slightly heavier 599g variant available. It features a 12.1-inch LCD screen with a 7:5 aspect ratio and a sharp 3000×2120 resolution. The display boasts a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and peaks at 900 nits for vibrant outdoor visibility. Color accuracy is strong, with a deltaE value of approximately 0.7. The tablet supports Dolby Vision and full DC dimming to reduce eye strain during long sessions. Three color choices—Lucky Purple, Deep Space Grey, and Galaxy Silver—are offered.

Performance and Memory

Under the hood, the Pad 5 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, paired with the Immortalis G925 MC12 GPU. This capable chipset handles demanding tasks efficiently. Memory configurations include options up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The tablet runs on Android 15 with ColorOS 16 tailored for tablets. While OPPO has not announced software support details yet, the Find X9 series offers five OS updates and six years of security patches, suggesting similar commitment for the Pad 5.

As expected with tablets, the Pad 5 includes a basic 8MP camera on both the front and rear for video calls or casual snapshots. It features six speakers with Dolby Atmos support for an enhanced audio experience. A large 10,420mAh battery fuels the device, supported by fast 67W Super Flash Charge capabilities.

Connectivity and Additional Features

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port. Security is handled via face unlock. The Pad 5 also includes standard sensors such as an accelerometer and gyroscope.

Price and Availability in Nepal

The OPPO Pad 5 launched in China on October 28, 2025. In Nepal, the base 8GB + 128GB model is expected to start at NPR 71,500, with higher configurations ranging up to NPR 98,500 for the top 16GB + 512GB variant. The tablet should arrive in Nepali market soon following its Chinese debut.
