OPPO Reno14 F Lands in Nepal With Big Battery and Mid-Range Specs

The OPPO Reno14 F is now available in Nepal as the more affordable model in the Reno14 family. With a 6,000 mAh battery, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor, it aims to attract budget-conscious buyers. However, at NPR 57,999 for the only 12GB/512GB configuration, it struggles to stand out against rivals like the Xiaomi 14T and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro.

The phone sports a 6.57-inch Full HD+ AMOLED panel that refreshes at 120Hz and reaches up to 1,400 nits for outdoor visibility. It is protected by AGC Dragontrail DT-STAR D+ glass and includes a “Splash Touch” feature for wet-finger operation. Design-wise, it weighs just 180 grams and comes in vibrant color options, including a gradient “Opal Blue” finish. The device carries IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Photography duties are handled by a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with optical image stabilization, alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP macro shooter. The 32MP front camera supports autofocus, and the phone can capture photos and 4K videos underwater. OPPO has bundled AI-powered photography features such as Flash Motion Photo, Recompose, and Style Transfer, though the absence of a dedicated zoom lens is a notable drawback at this price.

Under the hood, the Reno14 F is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, with a microSD slot for extra space. It runs ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, with a promised five years of OS updates and six years of security patches. Performance, however, does not quite match other phones in the same bracket.

A sizable 6,000 mAh battery fuels the device, supporting 45W fast charging, and a matching charger is included in the box. Additional features include an optical in-display fingerprint sensor, Gemini support, and AI tools for call summaries, translation, and speech transcription.

The OPPO Reno14 F is priced exclusively at NPR 57,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant and can be found at authorized OPPO retailers nationwide. While it brings a strong battery and a smooth display, buyers may find better value elsewhere at this price point.
