OPPO has announced the Watch S smartwatch in China as part of its October 2025 launch event, held alongside the Find X9 series and Pad 5 tablet. The new Watch S brings a vivid 1.46-inch circular AMOLED display with a sharp 464 by 464 resolution and an impressive 317 ppi density, reaching a peak brightness of 3,000 nits for excellent visibility even under direct sunlight.

The watch features a premium stainless steel design measuring 44.98 by 44.98 by 8.9 millimeters and weighing just 35 grams without the strap. It is available in three color options: Vibrant Green with a cloth strap, and Rhythm Silver or Racing Black, both with rubber straps. The device is rated at 5ATM plus IP68 for dust and water resistance, making it suitable for everyday wear and light swimming.

Health tracking on the Watch S is comprehensive, with sensors for heart rate monitoring (eight-channel optical), blood oxygen saturation (16-channel SpO2), ECG readings, and wrist temperature. Sleep tracking includes snoring assessment, SpO2 level monitoring, quality scoring, and breathing rate tracking. Additional features cover fall detection, menstrual cycle tracking, and daily activity reminders.

The Watch S supports over 100 sports modes and can automatically detect activities such as cycling, running, swimming, walking, and rowing. It also includes built-in AI coaching for improved workout performance.

Under the hood, the watch runs ColorOS Watch 7.1 on a BES2800BP chipset with 4GB of EMMC storage. It connects via Bluetooth 5.2 and supports dual-band L1 plus L5 GPS along with BeiDou, Galileo, GLONASS, OZSS, and NFC. Onboard sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, geomagnetic sensor, air pressure sensor, and ambient light sensor. The watch is compatible with Android 10 or later and iOS 14 or newer.

Battery life is a standout feature, with the 339mAh cell lasting up to 10 days under light use, seven days with regular use, and four days with the always-on display turned on. A full charge takes about 90 minutes, while a quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 24 hours of use.

In China, the OPPO Watch S launched on October 22, 2025, priced at CNY 1,299 for Rhythm Silver and Racing Black, and CNY 1,499 for the Vibrant Green model. When it reaches Nepal, expectations are for the Vibrant Green version to start at NPR 35,200, with other variants likely priced lower.
