Oppo has expanded its A78 lineup with the launch of the 4G version, following the earlier 5G model introduced earlier this year. This new edition brings notable adjustments to cater to budget-conscious users while maintaining competitive performance and design elements.

The Oppo A78 4G showcases a 6.43-inch Full HD+ AMOLED screen boasting a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant colors and fluid motion. The display adopts a hole-punch cutout positioned at the top left, optimizing the screen-to-body ratio. It is offered in two distinct color finishes: Misty Black with a matte texture and Sea Green with a glossy appearance.

Performance and Storage

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset, an octa-core processor built on an efficient 6nm process with a maximum clock speed of 2.40GHz. It pairs with 8GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of internal storage, complemented by an additional 8GB of virtual RAM support to enhance multitasking capabilities.

Camera Setup

On the rear, the phone features a dual-camera arrangement consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth lens for creative bokeh effects. For self-portraits and video calls, an 8MP camera is embedded within the hole-punch display.
