POCO X5 Pro Now Available in Nepal With Updated Specifications

POCO has updated its mid-range X-series for 2023 with the POCO X5 Pro, now available in Nepal. This model brings notable improvements over its predecessor, primarily through a stronger processor and enhanced display capabilities.

The POCO X5 Pro is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, a significant upgrade from the Snapdragon 695 used in the previous model. It offers two memory configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, both supporting microSD card expansion. The device runs on Android 12 with MIUI 14 tailored for POCO.

In terms of display, the POCO X5 Pro features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a responsive 240Hz touch sampling rate. The display also supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for richer colors and deeper contrasts, along with 1920Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain in low-light conditions. Gorilla Glass 5 protects the front panel.

Design-wise, the phone retains a familiar look with a wide camera module and flat edges, available in Blue, Black, and POCO Yellow color options.

Photographically, the POCO X5 Pro boasts a triple rear camera setup led by a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL HM2 primary sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro camera. The system can record 4K video thanks to the more powerful processor. A 16MP camera sits within a punch-hole cutout for selfies.

Other key features include a sizable 5000mAh battery with supportive 67W fast charging, plus a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock for security.

The POCO X5 Pro is priced at NPR 39,999 for the 6GB RAM with 128GB storage version, while the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage model costs NPR 42,999. It is now available through authorized retailers across Nepal.
