Realme 15x 5G Debuts in India with Robust Durability and Long Battery Life

Realme has announced the 15x 5G in India, showcasing a combination of long-lasting battery performance and enhanced durability. The smartphone boasts a substantial 7,000 mAh battery and an IP69 Pro certification, which provides superior protection against dust and water.

The device sports a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate, alongside a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Under the hood, it is powered by the Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chipset, built on a 6nm process, and comes with options for 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of storage, expandable via microSD.

The Realme 15x 5G runs on Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0, promising updates for two Android generations. It features a 50MP primary camera on both the front and rear, utilizing Sony's IMX852 sensor for the rear camera and Omnivision's OV50D40 for the selfie shooter. The phone includes a 60W fast charging capability with an included 80W charger and supports reverse charging at 6.5W.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band WiFi, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device also introduces AI Call Noise Reduction 2.0, which claims to filter out ambient noise up to 70dB with an 86% reduction rate.

In India, the Realme 15x 5G is available in Aqua Blue, Marine Blue, and Maroon Red color options, priced from INR 16,999 for the base model. The phone is anticipated to launch in Nepal soon, with expected pricing starting at NPR 31,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant.
