Realme 16 Pro+ Debuts with Advanced Camera System and Premium Design

Realme has launched the 16 Pro+, a new addition to its smartphone lineup that emphasizes camera capabilities and a refined design aesthetic. Designed by Japanese architect Naoto Fukasawa, the phone follows Realme’s Urban Wild Design philosophy, featuring a bio-based organic silicone back crafted from plant-based straw and a curved golden frame for an elegant appearance. It is offered in Master Gold, Master Grey, and a special Camellia Pink variant exclusive to India, with an IP69 rating for water and dust resistance.

The display measures 6.8 inches with curved AMOLED edges, a 1.5K resolution, and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate for fluid scrolling and animations. Security is handled by an optical in-display fingerprint sensor.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. It runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, with a commitment to three major Android updates and four years of security patches.

Photography features are a highlight, with a triple rear camera setup led by a 200MP main sensor that supports full-pixel auto zoom and Color Image Processing technology for enhanced color accuracy and lighting. This is joined by a 50MP telephoto lens offering 3.5x optical zoom and 120x Super Zoom, along with an 8MP ultrawide lens. Additional camera features include 21 color tones, five portrait styles, HyperRAW, InstantSnap, and Anti-Distortion for clearer images. Video recording supports 4K HDR across multiple focal lengths and dual-focal 4K at 60fps, with a 16MP front camera for selfies.

The phone is equipped with a large 7,000mAh battery and supports 80W wired fast charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, and a USB-C 2.0 port.

If launched in Nepal, the Realme 16 Pro+ is expected to start at NPR 69,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model, with higher configurations priced accordingly.
