Realme 16 Pro Debuts in Nepal With Powerhouse Battery and Advanced Camera Setup

Realme has expanded its mid-range lineup with the new Realme 16 Pro, positioning it just below the higher-end Realme 16 Pro+. Despite being a step down from its Pro+ counterpart, the 16 Pro retains much of the same design philosophy and camera emphasis. The phone follows Realme’s Urban Wild Design language, developed in collaboration with Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa, and offers a velvet matte finish instead of the bio-based silicone back found on the Pro+. It comes in three color options: Master Gold, Pebble Grey, and Orchid Purple, and maintains durability with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

On the front, the Realme 16 Pro sports a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a smooth 144Hz refresh rate. Security features include an optical in-display fingerprint scanner and an infrared sensor. Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Max chipset built on a 4nm process, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. While it does not match the performance of the Snapdragon-powered Pro+, it remains well-suited for everyday tasks, gaming, and media consumption. The phone runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, introducing AI-driven features such as AI Translation, AI Gaming Coach, and Google Gemini Live integration, along with an AirFlow VC cooling system to manage heat.

Photography is a strong point for the Realme 16 Pro, highlighted by a 200MP primary camera using the Samsung HP5 sensor, equipped with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture. Rather than a periscope lens, the phone employs Realme’s Golden Portrait Lens Kit to switch focal lengths and ensure consistent portrait quality. The secondary camera is an 8MP ultrawide, while the front-facing camera boasts a 50MP sensor capable of recording video up to 4K at 30 frames per second. Imaging features include Vibe Master Mode with 21 custom tones, five portrait styles, AI Edit Genie, and AI-powered lighting and styling tools.

One of the standout features of the Realme 16 Pro is its massive 7,000 mAh battery, which supports 80W fast wired charging. This large capacity promises extended usage even under demanding conditions.

It offers up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, runs on Realme UI 7.0 based on Android 16, and includes a 200MP main camera with OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide. The device also features a 50MP front camera, a 7,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging, and various connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and 5G support.

In India, the Realme 16 Pro starts at INR 31,999 for the base 8GB/128GB model. If it launches in Nepal as expected, the base version will likely be priced at NPR 54,999, with higher configurations reaching up to NPR 64,999.
