Realme 9i 5G Launches in Nepal with Unique Design and Solid Performance

Realme has introduced the 9i 5G to its growing 9 series portfolio in Nepal, marking the fifth addition to the lineup. This latest model brings a fresh aesthetic inspired by vintage CDs, which Realme refers to as the “Laser Light Design.” The smartphone’s rear panel showcases light rays emanating from the raised camera lenses, while the device remains flat on surfaces. It comes in three color choices: Metallic Gold, Soulful Blue, and Rocking Black.

On the front, the phone features a 6.6-inch LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate and a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate. Unlike other models in the series that use a punch-hole display cutout, the 9i 5G adopts a water-drop style notch to accommodate the selfie camera.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G processor, built on a 6nm process that Realme claims reduces power consumption by 20 percent. It is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, with an option to expand storage through virtual RAM. The phone runs on Android 12, customized with Realme UI 3.0.

For photography, the Realme 9i 5G offers a triple rear camera setup led by a 50MP primary sensor, complemented by a 4cm macro lens and a portrait lens. The front camera, situated within the water-drop notch, is an 8MP shooter.

Additional features include a sizable 5000mAh battery supporting 18W fast charging, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio connections.

The Realme 9i 5G is officially priced in Nepal at NPR 29,999 for the sole 6GB RAM and 128GB storage configuration and is now available through authorized Realme retail outlets across the country.
