Realme Narzo N55 Debuts in Nepal with Helio G88 Processor and Mini Capsule Design

Realme has introduced the Narzo N55 in the Nepali market, positioning it as a stylish and performance-focused option. The device is essentially a rebranded version of the Realme C55, already available locally, and brings several notable features to the table.

The Narzo N55 sports a modern boxy design with flat edges, measuring just 7.89mm thick, making it one of the slimmest phones in its price bracket. It comes in two color options: Prime Blue and Prime Black, both featuring Realme’s Ultra Slim Prism design with a dual-tone finish. The display is a 6.72-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a smooth 90Hz refresh rate and a responsive 180Hz touch sampling rate, alongside a strong peak brightness of 680 nits.

A standout feature is the Mini Capsule, located at the top of the screen, which displays charging status, low battery alerts, data usage, step count, and walking distance, drawing inspiration from Apple’s Dynamic Island found on recent iPhones.

Under the hood, the Narzo N55 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, built on a 12nm process. This octa-core processor includes two Cortex-A75 cores running at 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.8GHz, paired with a Mali-G52 MC2 GPU for graphics. Memory options include 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage, with a microSD card slot allowing expansion up to 1TB and virtual RAM expansion up to 12GB. The device runs Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13.

Camera capabilities include a dual rear setup with a 64MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor, while the front features an 8MP selfie camera suitable for photos and video calls.

The phone is equipped with a robust 5000mAh battery, supporting 33W SuperVOOC fast charging. Security is handled by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and connectivity options include dual-band WiFi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2.

The Narzo N55 is available for pre-order now through authorized retailers in Nepal. The base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at NPR 20,499, while the higher-end variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage costs NPR 24,499.
