Redmi 10 (2022) Launches in Nepal With Updated Branding and Same Core Specs

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 10 (2022) in Nepal, a refreshed version of the original Redmi 10 that carries over the same core specifications under updated branding. Despite being labeled as a 2022 model, the device is essentially a rebranded version of the earlier Redmi 10, with no significant hardware changes aside from updated software.

The phone sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch-hole camera cutout, featuring a 90Hz adaptive refresh rate that adjusts between 45Hz, 60Hz, and 90Hz depending on the content being displayed. Protection is provided by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It comes in three color options: Pebble White, Carbon Gray, and Sea Blue.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 4G chipset, paired with options of 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. A sizable 5000mAh battery supports 18W fast charging, though the box includes a 22.5W adapter. The phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 12.5 out of the box.

Camera capabilities include a quad rear setup with a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP macro and depth sensors. An 8MP camera sits in the punch-hole for selfies. Audio features include a stereo speaker setup and a 3.5mm headphone jack, with security provided by a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Connectivity options cover Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz bands) and Bluetooth 5.1. The device measures 161.95 x 75.53 x 8.92mm and weighs 181 grams.

In Nepal, the Redmi 10 (2022) is priced at NPR 20,499 for the 4GB/64GB model and NPR 23,999 for the 6GB/128GB variant. It is available through Xiaomi authorized stores across the country.
