Xiaomi Unveils Redmi 13C in Nepal with Helio G85 Processor and 50MP Camera

Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi 13C in Nepal, positioning it as an affordable option in the smartphone market. This model acts as a more budget-oriented version of the Redmi 13 series and is essentially a rebranded variant of the recently introduced Poco C65.

The Redmi 13C sports a 6.74-inch IPS display with HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, wrapped in a plastic body that carries over the design language of its sibling, the Poco C65. Despite its price point, the phone includes Gorilla Glass protection and has obtained TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. It comes in two color choices: Stardust Black and Starshine Green.

Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the 50MP primary rear camera, supported by a 2MP macro lens and an additional auxiliary lens setup. An 8MP front camera resides within a waterdrop notch, capable of recording video at up to 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second.

Performance is handled by the 12nm built Helio G85 processor, which combines two Cortex-A75 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz with six Cortex-A55 cores running at 1.8GHz. The device can be configured with up to 8GB of RAM and offers 256GB of internal storage space. It runs Android 13, customized with MIUI 14.

A robust 5000mAh battery supplies power, supporting 18W fast charging although the box only includes a 10W charger. Connectivity features include 4G network support, WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, USB Type-C, and a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack.

Pricing for the Redmi 13C starts at NPR 13,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage. The mid-tier 6GB RAM with 128GB storage variant costs NPR 15,999, while the top-end 8GB RAM paired with 256GB storage model is priced at NPR 18,999. The smartphone is currently available through authorized Xiaomi outlets across Nepal.
