Xiaomi Unveils Redmi Buds 4 Active in Nepal with Enhanced Audio Features

Xiaomi has recently announced the launch of the Redmi Buds 4 Active in Nepal, marking the latest addition to its Redmi wireless earbuds lineup. This model distinguishes itself with a unique long-stem design and a cylindrical speaker unit, setting it apart from the standard Redmi Buds 4. The earbuds are notably lighter, weighing just 3.65 grams each, compared to the 4.5 grams of the regular Buds 4, with the entire set coming in at 42 grams. They feature an IPX4 rating for splash resistance and are available exclusively in black.

On the audio front, the Redmi Buds 4 Active come equipped with 12mm dynamic drivers, tuned by Xiaomi's Acoustic Lab, promising richer bass and improved overall sound quality. However, it's important to note that these earbuds utilize the SBC audio codec only, which may result in suboptimal performance when paired with iPhones. Unlike the standard Redmi Buds 4, the Active version lacks active noise cancellation (ANC) but includes environmental noise cancellation (ENC) to enhance call clarity.

Battery life is robust, with each bud housing a 34mAh battery and the charging case holding a 440mAh cell. Xiaomi claims users can enjoy up to 5 hours of music playback from a single charge, extending to 28 hours with the case. Additionally, a quick 10-minute charge provides roughly 110 minutes of listening time.

The Redmi Buds 4 Active supports Bluetooth 5.3 for stable connectivity and features Google Fast Pair for seamless connections with Android devices. A dedicated low-latency gaming mode is also included, and users can further personalize their experience through the Xiaomi Earbuds app, available for both Android and iOS platforms.

The Redmi Buds 4 Active are officially priced at NPR 2,999 and are available from authorized Redmi retailers across Nepal.
