Xiaomi Unveils Redmi K90 Pro Max with Massive Battery and Premium Audio

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi K90 Pro Max in China, continuing its reputation for delivering high-end features at competitive prices. This latest flagship boasts a range of impressive specifications, including a massive 7,560mAh silicon-carbon battery, a Bose-tuned audio system with a dedicated rear woofer, and the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.

The device features a sizable 6.9-inch flat AMOLED display with a sharp 2,608 x 1,200 pixel resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Peak local brightness reaches an outstanding 3,500 nits, and the screen supports HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and 12-bit color depth for vivid visuals. Touch sampling hits 2,560Hz, ensuring responsive interactions, while the panel is protected by Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass.

In terms of design, the K90 Pro Max comes in three distinct colors. The Black and White variants feature a textured matte glass finish, while the Blue model sports a unique denim-like surface created through a two-tone warp/weft process with third-generation nano-leather. This Blue version is designed to resist UV damage, yellowing, stains, and wear better than standard materials. Additionally, a special Champion Edition developed in collaboration with the Lamborghini Racing Team offers exclusive design elements and comes in a custom gift box.

Audio capabilities are a standout feature, thanks to a partnership with Bose. The phone includes a 2.1 channel speaker system comprising 1115F ultra-linear symmetrical dual speakers and an independent rear woofer. One speaker is positioned near the earpiece, another close to the USB-C port, and the third woofer is mounted on the back panel. This setup delivers deep bass, a stable sound image, and a wider soundstage compared to conventional dual-speaker configurations.

Connectivity options are comprehensive, including Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1. The phone supports 5G SA/NSA and dual 4G VoLTE networks, along with multi-band GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, QZSS, and NavIC satellite systems. It also accommodates dual nano SIMs.

In China, the Redmi K90 Pro Max starts at CNY 3,999. When it becomes available in Nepal, prices are expected to begin at no less than NPR 83,500 for the base variant. The phone will likely appeal to users seeking premium performance, long battery life, and enhanced audio in a single package.
