Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Now Available in Nepal With Updated Design and Features

Xiaomi has officially introduced the Redmi Note 10 in Nepal, bringing an updated design and solid performance to the mid-range segment. First unveiled globally in 2021, this version serves as the most affordable option within its original series, balancing strong specifications with a reasonable price tag.

The phone adopts Xiaomi's new “Evol.” design language, moving away from the previous Aura style. It features a sleek body with a smooth gradient finish on the back, though it remains unclear if the rear panel includes Gorilla Glass protection. The front display is safeguarded by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, and the device now holds IP53 certification for dust and water resistance. Notably, the fingerprint sensor has shifted from the rear to the side.

Display-wise, the Redmi Note 10 satisfies user demands with a 6.43-inch Super AMOLED panel offering Full HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. Peak brightness reaches 1100 nits, and the screen supports various color profiles such as standard, sunlight, and night mode.

Under the hood, the device runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 678 processor, built on an 11nm process. This chip represents a modest upgrade over the Snapdragon 675, featuring an overclocked Kryo 460 CPU. It pairs with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage, with an additional microSD slot for expansion.

The software experience comes through MIUI 12 based on Android 11, putting Xiaomi ahead of some competitors still rolling out devices with Android 10. The phone also includes a Z-axis vibration motor for enhanced haptic feedback during gaming, typing, and other interactions.

Camera capabilities include a quad-lens setup housed in a redesigned module. The main camera utilizes a 48MP Sony IMX582 sensor, supported by an 8MP ultra-wide lens and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro shots. Video recording reaches up to 4K at 30 frames per second, with slow-motion options extending to 960 frames per second at 720p. A 13MP selfie camera sits within a minimized punch-hole cutout measuring just 3.54mm.

Power comes from a substantial 5000mAh battery, supporting 33W fast charging. Xiaomi includes a matching 33W charger in the box, claiming the ability to charge the device from zero to full in roughly 74 minutes. Audio features a dual stereo speaker setup that carries Hi-Res certification, alongside a 3.5mm headphone jack and an IR blaster.

In terms of pricing, the Redmi Note 10 starts at NPR 21,999 for the base model with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The 4GB RAM, 128GB storage version costs NPR 22,999, while the top configuration with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage is priced at NPR 24,999. However, availability may be limited as the device is currently listed as out of stock, likely due to the focus shifting toward the newer Redmi Note 13 series.
