Redmi Note 12 5G Arrives in Nepal With Premium Display and Solid Performance

The Redmi Note 12 5G has officially entered the Nepali market, joining its 4G and Pro 5G counterparts. This model brings a blend of eye-catching design, smooth performance, and long-lasting battery life at an attractive price point.

The phone carries a modern aesthetic with curved rear edges and a dot-style notch at the front, offered in Matte Black, Mystique Blue, and Frosted Green finishes. It sports a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED panel that delivers Full HD+ resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and impressive brightness levels peaking at 1,200 nits with 4,096 brightness steps. The display also covers a full DCI-P3 color gamut and holds SGS Eye Care certification to reduce blue light exposure.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the efficient Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor built on a advanced 6nm process, offering noticeable improvements over its predecessor. It comes with either 4GB or 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM matched with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs Android 12 with Xiaomi's MIUI 14 interface and will receive two major OS upgrades plus four years of security patches.

For photography, the Redmi Note 12 5G carries a triple rear camera setup led by a 48MP main sensor, supported by an 8MP ultrawide and a 2MP macro lens. The Chinese version swaps the ultrawide for a 2MP depth sensor and features an 8MP front camera rather than the 13MP unit found in the Nepali model. A sizable 5,000mAh battery fuels the device and supports quick 33W charging.

The Redmi Note 12 5G is priced at NPR 29,999 for the 6GB RAM configuration and NPR 31,999 for the 8GB RAM variant. It is now available through authorized retail outlets across Nepal.
