Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G in Nepal, priced from NPR 49,999 for the 8GB/256GB model to NPR 54,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant. This device attempts to balance attractive specs with a competitive price, but whether it succeeds fully depends on what buyers prioritize.

The phone impresses right away with its design and display. Measuring 162.53 x 74.67 x 8.75 – 8.85 mm and weighing between 205 and 210 grams, it feels solid with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front, Gorilla Glass 7i on the back, and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. The 6.67-inch AMOLED screen boasts a 1.5K resolution, a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a remarkable peak brightness of 3000 nits, making it one of the brightest displays in this price class. Stereo speakers and a sharp X-axis vibration motor further enhance the multimedia experience.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G utilizes the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, paired with either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB or 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. However, this processor feels somewhat underwhelming when compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 7200-Ultra used in the previous Note 13 Pro+, with real-world performance showing only minor gains in gaming benchmarks.
