Xiaomi Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G With 6GB RAM and 128GB Storage Now Available in Nepal

Xiaomi has expanded its product lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G, a compact and budget-friendly tablet designed for everyday use. The device combines a decent display, solid performance, and long battery life in an accessible price point.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G sports an 8.7-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution, a smooth 90Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 600 nits, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor viewing. It also carries TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free display technology, reducing eye strain during extended use.

Under the hood, the tablet is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 processor built on a 12nm process, paired with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 storage. Users can further expand the storage via a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB. The device runs Xiaomi's HyperOS based on Android 14.

A sizable 6,650 mAh battery fuels the Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G, offering extended usage on a single charge. While the tablet supports 18W fast charging, the box includes only a 10W charger. Connectivity options include dual SIM 4G support for calls and messaging, dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth v5.3, an IR blaster, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

For photography, the tablet features an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. It is available in three color options: Graphite Grey, Aurora Green, and Sky Blue. The device measures 211.58 mm x 125.48 mm x 8.80 mm and weighs around 375 grams.

The Redmi Pad SE 8.7 4G was officially launched in Nepal on October 7, 2024, and is now available across authorized Xiaomi stores and retailers for NPR 19,999.
