Redmi Watch 6 Arrives in Nepal with Enhanced Display and Extended Battery Life

Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Watch 6 in Nepal, the latest addition to its premium smartwatch lineup. Building on the success of its predecessor, the device delivers a striking 2.07-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 432 x 514 pixel resolution and an impressive 324 PPI density. The screen boasts an 82 percent screen-to-body ratio thanks to ultra-slim 2mm bezels and reaches a peak brightness of 2,000 nits, making it far easier to read indoors and out.

The watch’s design has been refined for a slimmer profile, measuring just 9.9mm thick, down from 11.3mm on the Redmi Watch 5. Constructed from aerospace-grade aluminum alloy, it promises 20 percent greater structural strength and 40 percent better resistance to wear. Users benefit from a dual-button interface, including a standard crown and a customizable side key for quick access to controls, settings, and emergency functions. The watch is available in Lunar Silver, Classic Black, and Misty Blue, with optional leather straps offered separately.

Running on Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, the Redmi Watch 6 connects via Bluetooth 5.4 and includes dual L1 antenna positioning for enhanced GPS accuracy across Beidou, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS systems. The smartwatch supports NFC for contactless payments, integrates with smart home devices, and offers access to over a dozen third-party apps and ten mini-games. Users can customize watch faces, receive real-time notifications through Xiaomi Super Island, and manage everything via the Xiaomi Sports Health app.

Health and fitness enthusiasts will appreciate the watch’s extensive tracking capabilities, covering more than 150 sports modes and monitoring metrics such as heart rate, blood oxygen levels (SpO₂), sleep patterns, stress levels, and women’s health. Additional sensors include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and geomagnetic sensor. With 5ATM water resistance, the device is suitable for swimming and other water-related activities.

Powering the Redmi Watch 6 is a 550mAh battery, rated to deliver up to 24 days on a single charge under basic use, 12 days with typical mixed usage, and 7 days when using Always-On Display. A linear motor provides over twenty distinct vibration patterns for notifications, alarms, and health alerts.
